This afternoon, Frank called me up and said, "Joe, we're in the New York Times!". Frank and Megan were married yesterday at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Notre Dame and I was priviliged to photograph their wedding day with Peter Ringenberg, my new associate photographer. Back when I was in college, Peter introduced me to photographing weddings. At the time, I was working for the yearbook and had recently picked up the camera. I figured it was the best college job anyone could get, especially since you could easily get front row seats to any event for free. One summer, I helped Peter shoot a few weddings and my life was changed after that. Since then, we kept photographing weddings and I started a company with one of the studios focusing on wedding photography. I'm very excited to have joined forces with my college friend and have him aboard. Peter's role will be assisting and second shooting weddings. He will also be available to photograph weddings for the studio when I'm already booked and all the post work and customer satisfaction will be handled by the studio. Peter not only has a great eye, but has a great personality and brings several years of experience as a wedding photographer. I look forward to working with him on several weddings this year. I'm getting the final details worked out for my South America trip. I'll be leaving on Dec. 21, 2009 and return on March 1, 2010. There's a lot planned. And although email access will be limited, I'll do my best to reply as soon as possible. A few goals for this trip include creating 3 websites for a few different organizations. One for a missionary family, one for a school for poor families, and one for a radio station.

I'm excited to announce that we have launched a custom website geared for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Our current website uses flash elements and unfortunately some mobile devices don't support .swf files as of yet. We are also working on developing seamless integration through the development of an iPhone app. More on that later.

Finally :). After a lot of thinking of what would be an ideal website should look like, I came to a few conclusions.
